Biography
Abdelmoneim Shumo Dodah ( Shumo); State Reintegration Coordinator for United Nations Development Programme in West Darfur – Sudan. Shumo completed PhD degree in Rural Development (Effect of conflict on gum Arabic production and business partnership attraction) at Sudan Academy of Sciences; MSc degree in Sociology (The role of non-governmental Organization In Development of Displacement Children) at Sudan Academy of Sciences; Highest Diploma Degree in Business Administration at University of Blue Nile State, BSc degree in community studies and Rural Development “social work” at Juba University; intermediate Diploma in Social work at University of Khartoum. Following serval senior positions held with UNDP a field reintegration officer for Darfur Community based Reintegration and Stabilization Programme (DCBRSP) - DDR of Doha Document for Peace and Development DDPD; Case worker/counselor in Blue Nile State for DDR project under CPA doc. Moreover, Senior Social Worker for Child Soldiers Reintegration in Khartoun with Child Development Organization; and Social worker for street children rehabilitation and family reunification. Major contributions for Shumo was established the state council and the law endorsed for Person with Disabilities PWDs in Blue Nile State. Conducted evaluation tracer and many assessment undertaken in the various development themes, Over 1000 ex-combatants were counseled successfully and opted for various package reintegration business, over 10 donors visit successful organized and resulted was positive. Attended numbers of short training courses and conducted ToT in the SSR, DDR foundation and Advance, child rights, strategic planning, advocacy, M&E and reporting, socioeconomic reintegration….etc. these training organized in USA.
