Description
Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Deputy Dean facilities at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus in Trinidad and Tobago. He earned his PhD on sustainable materials from the University of Wolverhampton in West Midlands UK. His specific interests are on Sustainable Construction materials, and Engineering Facilities Management with particular expertise in the behavior and failure of the engineering facilities/materials, forensic investigations, negotiations and contracts law. He is the recipient and the winner of the Bizcom, UK award for the idea of NOVEL and SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY in 2006 and a Special Service Award for the contribution and service as a chairperson of national Standards Committee Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards 2014. He is currently a member at the American Society of the Civil Engineering (ASCE) on forensic investigations, member Forensic Engineering Society of Australia (FESA) and member (GEER) Geotechnical Extreme Events Reconnaissance Association. He is the author of more than 70 publications and the book titled “The practical Guide to Green Technology for the Ground Engineering”.
