Consultant and Gender advisor for the UNDP. I worked as regional advisor for the United Nations economic commission for Western Asia. Programme manager for the UNDP in Bahrain. Coordinator and Associate Professor for the Gender and Peace Building Department at the United Nations Mandated University for Peace, in Costa Rica. Teaching assistant at Leeds University, UK Department of Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies. Teaching assistant at University of Khartoum, Department of Political Science. Published at Palgrave Macmillan, Lexington, Brill and UNRISD think piece, editor and reviewer / conflict and peace Journal and other journals.
