Biography
Anthony Ukam Unor is a doctoral Student of International Development Studies at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Before joining Chulalongkorn University in 2018. He holds master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Studies from Rangsit Graduate School of Diplomacy and International Studies, Rangsit University in Bangkok and a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor concentration in International Business from the Institute of International Studies, Ramkhamhaeng University, Bangkok, Thailand. He is an ESL professional with over 14 years of experience. He also serves as a personal assistant to the Executive secretary of AUAP (Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific). He has extensive knowledge in research in Asia. His areas of research specialization are social inequality, social inclusiveness, migration, transnational crime, international security, human rights and internally displaced persons (IDPs) etc. Anthony Unor has an extensive track record in the areas of community empowerment and is currently the vice president of the Nigerian Union of teachers in Thailand, the planning committee chairman of Nigeria Diaspora Organisation - Thailand Chapter, the president of Akwa-cross Association of Nigerians in Thailand as well as a strong member of the Nigerian community in Bangkok.
