Biography
Medical doctor graduated from University of Khartoum (MBBS); appointed as teaching assistant in department of pathology, faculty of medicine, university of Khartoum; obtained MD in clinical pathology & appointed as assistant professor in the same department; moved to U.K. & obtained Membership & fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists, London, UK; works as consultant Histopathologist & cytopathologist in Ashford & St Peter's NHS Trust since 2005; worked as head of cellular pathology department in Ashford & St Peter's NHS Trust 2010 - 2011; chaired cytology services for Surrey Pathology Services Network (5 NHS Trusts) 2013 - 2015; an approved GMC assessor on behalf of Royal College of Pathologists, also approved college representative in appointment committees for consultant pathologists; co-authored a number of published papers in International Journals; Research interests: pathology & cytology; current president of Sudanese Medical Association in U.K. & Ireland (2015 to date) & the founder of the association in 2010; assistant Secretary General of Islamic World Health Union since December 2016 & a founding member of the union; also a trustee member in a number of U.K. & Sudanese charities & community Organizations.
