David Hanton (UK)

David is a senior economic consultant who has advised investors, developers and governments on the financial viability of mixed use development projects, many of which have included substantial infrastructure components, including transportation, sports, tourism and leisure facilities. He has worked on numerous projects globally with developers, master-planners, national and international organisations and in some cases advising on economic development strategy and how to maximise the economic impact of projects and investments. Prior to his work in the private sector, David previously worked with the Grameen Bank and Institute of Liberty and Democracy exploring the impact of the legal and regulatory environment on poverty alleviation and urban development in Latin America. Prior to coming to London, David worked for the Office of the Attorney General in Chicago, evaluating state-wide programmes geared towards community development and crime prevention. Within the UK, he has worked with the Royal College of General Practitioners on their business intelligence systems and at Kantar Health.
