Adrian Dore is the Founding Managing Director of Cabis Solutions Limited. Adrian is a dynamic individual of exceptional talent who specialises in providing effective real-world solutions to business challenges. His rich managerial and technical skill sets together with his unique mixture of industrial and academic experience enable him to readily analyse and balance the benefits and risks of information communication technologies with the needs and goals of business. With a 1st class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and PhD (analysis and design of automated manufacturing systems), Adrian was the first ever lecturer in Information Engineering to be appointed by Salford University and then elected Chairman of the Information Engineering Panel. Adrian’s outstanding achievements include: study tour by the Science and Engineering Research Council to assess manufacturing automation around the world in particular Europe, North America and Australasia; the prize for outstanding project work titled ‘Venting of Dust Explosions’ by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and the Francis Shaw Prize by Salford University for most significant contribution towards furthering the relationship between the Department of Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering and Industry. Adrian acted as external examiner for postgraduate students at UMIST and Hull University published various refereed papers and book chapters.
