Dr. Louise Scheers (South Africa)

Dr. Louise van Scheers is a senior lecturer in the Marketing and Retail Department, College of Economic and Management Science of the University of South Africa. She obtained a doctorate in Marketing from the University of South Africa in 1998. She has 20 years lecturing experience. She has qualified as an ETDP Seta assessor and moderator. Louise is a member of the Research Committee, College of Economic and Management Science. She has been recognized as a proven researcher and has published widely in accredited journals. Louise has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences. Louise has extensive experience in lecturing marketing and has completed her doctorate in developing distribution channels for the spaza shops (a small informal SMME). She has presented various workshops and has experience in writing a business plan. Her research interests include marketing, assessing, moderation, project management, small businesses and ODL research.
