Interested in Lifestyle as medicine - supporting people with healthy lifestyle choices including nutrition, physical activity, stress reduction, healthy sleep and minimising harm from smoking and addictive substances. Accredited in life and health coaching to support positive behaviour change. Advocate for using population approaches in shaping and delivering primary care. This hinges around the concept of the wider determinants of health and using a bio-psycho-social model in healthcare for optimising health in the communities where people live and work. Founder/ Member of many public health and primary care working groups to improve individual and population health in Sudan.
