Biography
Mr Kyren Greigg has been employed at the Monetary, Fiscal and Trade Division (now called the Economic Management Division) of the Ministry of Finance and the Economy as an Economist for the past thirteen years. In addition to his work at the Ministry of Finance and the Economy, he is an adjunct lecturer at the College of Science, Technology & Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago, where he lecturers in courses in Economics and Caribbean Business Environments. He was on secondment for two years from 2010 to 2012 to the HEU, Centre for Health Economics, UWI as a Junior Research Fellow where he conducted research in the areas of Poverty and Labour Market Studies. He has also lectured at the undergraduate level in the Economics Department of UWI for introductory courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics and business and society in the Caribbean. His areas of specialisation are macroeconomic analysis, fiscal policy analysis, energy economics, labour economics, economic modelling and data analysis. Mr Greigg holds a BSc in Economics, Minor Finance (UWI), an MSc in Economics (UWI), an MSc in Energy Studies, with a Specialisation in International Oil and Gas management (University of Dundee); and an International MBA specialising in Energy Management (Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, UWI).
