Biography
Public Policy Analyst with extensive work and experience within the African and Global mandate on youth development, environment and sustainable development with research and training in Bibliometric indicators, use and dissemination. Excellent Multi-cultural orientation, programmes and partnerships development work, advocacy and communications, data analysis, information gathering, interpretation and presentation including efficient use of performance and management result based driven tools. Experienced in Public Speaking, facilitation and training, capacity building, leadership and mentoring. Currently in the Programmes Team of the Youth Division, Commonwealth Secretariat working on youth empowerment work with specific areas of work with youth leaders and youth led organisations, ministers of youth and stregnthening policy and programmes on youth development. Prior to this worked as Programmes and Policy Advisor of the African Observatory for Policy Practice & Youth Studies; Chair & Regional Coordinator of UNESCO's Pan African Youth Network on the Culture of Peace, Partnerships Advisor of the African Youth Initiative on Climate Change, Youth Working Group of the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF); Global Young Researcher for the Case for Space Project under youth policy.org researching on the enabling environment for youth participation, child protection, entrepreneurship and livelihoods. Areas of Interest include Public Policy Analysis, Global Governance, International Development and Diplomacy, Social Protection, Climate Change, Environment and Sustainable Development.
