Professor Foda has two Patents: “Production of herby soft cheese”. No: 118 / 2008, and Formation of Dairy Beverage for Autistic Children 636/ 2015, the Academy of Science Research & Technology, Egypt. Certificate for the best research paper (2015), Unilever Mosharak Co., The sixth Artful Integrators' Award (2014), Windhoek, Namibia. Book chapter (2014), In “Women and ICT in Africa and the Middle East: Changing Selves, Changing Societies” Ed., Ineke Buskens and Anne Webb: 122 – 133., and more than 37 research papers in National and International peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Mervat got bronze medal in the First International Invention Fair of the Middle East, Kuwait, Oct/2007.
