Avvari V. Mohan is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management at the Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) in the University of Nottingham - Malaysia Campus (UNMC). He is also Deputy Dean for Business Engagement and External Relations for the school. He received his doctorate in Marketing and Innovation from the Department of Management Studies of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore following which he visited South Korea on a Research Fellowship at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Prior to joining UNMC, he served as a member of the Faculty of Management at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. His research interests are in the areas of Strategy and Innovation with Sustainability oriented Strategies (CSR). He is particularly in collaborations or linkages firms develop with other organisations for Innovation and Sustainable Development/CSR. He has served as a Council Member of the Consumer Forum (CFM) for the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Industry, as a recourse person in WTA-UNESCO workshops and recently as Innovation Auditor for MIGHT, Malaysia.
