Biography
I have experience of community Developement work for over 20 years with a number of bodies and organisations in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex areas . My work is to reduced inequalities, social exclusion and racism among Blabk and Minority Ethnic ( BME) Communities which include the Sudanese Community in the area mentioned earlier. The bodies and organisations I have worked for are as following;

- Brighton and Hove City Council - Education and Children's Service Departments
- Trust for Developing Communities Organisation - BME Communities Accessing Health Service
- Closing the Gap initiative- to improve inclusion of BME children's in Secondary School and raise their academic attainment
- Domestic Violence and Abuse Peer-Education Project for BME Women with Brighton and Hove City Council, Immkan Organisatin and Rise Charity to raise awareness of the subject among BME women and signpost for support and services in the area
- Involved in other projects and initiatives aiming at including BME Communities in employment, Housing and Health Services
- Foundrer of Sudanese Women and Children Group which a community groups working to improve the quality of live for Sudanese Women and their children in the area
