Biography
Humayun Kabir is an Associate Professor of the Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka. He has been teaching for more than seventeen years in reputed public and private universities of Bangladesh. He also taught at the Department of Public Administration, University of Dhaka, University of Chittagong, Games P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University, and Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB). He obtained his BSS (Hons) and MA in Public Administration from the Department of Public Administration, University of Dhaka. He earned his MPA (International Development stream) as Canadian Commonwealth Scholar from the School of Public Policy and Administration, Carleton University, Ottawa in 2007. He has already published a good number of articles and research reports. Most of his articles have appeared in national and international peer reviewed journals. Mr. Humayun has extensive research experience. He has worked for UNDP Bangladesh, Action Aid Bangladesh, Save the Children, and the Centre for Urban Research and Education (CURE), Carleton University. He is a bonafied activist for
