Valentina Leal, a professional with degrees in business and economics with 9 years’ experience in the Colombian energy sector and great interest in sustainable development and environment issues.Valentina started to work in the middle of her studies in one of the biggest hydropower generation projects in Colombia. The topics related to environment and smaller sustainable projects built around the dam settled in Valentina interest in these topics. Her academic training and performance in her job took her to be promoted to Energy Market Analyst but her interest in the Sustainable Development field kept growing. After getting a scholarship from the Colombian Government, she started studying in the University of Sussex a Master in Environment, Development and Policy. Nowadays Valentina is looking to make a shift in her career back towards Sustainability and Environmental Issues. For her, every effort counts in terms of creating and living in a better world.
