Biography
I am a Professor of cell and tissue biology in the faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Suez Canal University and the founder of the Department since 1986. I obtained my master's and Ph.D. degrees from the faculty of Vet Med, Alexandria University, Egypt and worked as a demonstrator, assistant lecturer, and assistant Professor their between 1977 to 1986. I worked as a visiting Prof. at the Kobe University, School of Medicine, Japan, and Virginia-Maryland regional college of Veterinary Medicine, USA. I am a board member of the JSPS Alumni association (Egypt) and a DAAD alumnus. My research focuses on the cell and tissue biology of the dromedary camel particularly the cell death molecular biomarkers, myoendocrine cells, and their natriuretic peptides. I am always interested in teaching Histology to my under and graduate students.
