Biography
Atuhurra Angella Marjorie is a social entrepreneur, founder and Ceo of the Gejja Women Foundation and the Safe Girl Initiative Uganda, both focused on empowering women and girls in rural and underserved communities. Her work is deeply inspired by her personal journey, having faced a difficult childhood and becoming a mother at 18. Marjorie chose to turn her challenge into purpose, using her story to uplift others facing similar challenges. Through the Gejja Women Foundation, she supports women and youth in building economic independence and strengthening their communities. Through the Safe Girl Initiative Uganda, she advocates for menstrual health and dignity, ensuring girls can stay in school with confidence. She is also the Host of the Ikaara Na Ceo Podcast, where she engages young leaders in honest conversations about entrepreneurship and purpose. Marjorie believes that even the hardest beginnings can grow into opportunities that create lasting impact for others.
Education: I am currently a final year student at Makerere University Business School pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Makerere University in Human Resource Management. My Academic journey has equipped me with a greater understanding of people management, organisational development, and workplace ethics.
