Dr. Khellon Q. Roach is an MPhil/PhD candidate at the Institute of International Relations, UWI St Augustine and Graduate Research Assistant at the Office of the Campus Principal, UWI, St. Augustine Campus. He holds a Certificate in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from the UWI, St. Augustine Campus and a Post Graduate Diploma and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations, UWI, St. Augustine. His research interests are in the areas of Latin America-Caribbean relations; Maritime Transport; New Regionalism; Integration, South-South Cooperation and Functional Cooperation. He has presented at a number of International Conferences including the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies International Conference and has published in International Journals, such as the Global Development Studies (GDS) Journal. He is also currently on the executive committee of the Global Foreign Students Network (GFSN) and also on the Editorial Committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Youth Economics Society.
