Biography

Dr Masudus Salehin is a medical doctor and PhD student at Federation University Australia. He holds two Master of Public Health degrees—one from the University of Melbourne (2011) and another in Epidemiology from NIPSOM, Bangladesh (1999). He also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Economics from the University of Dhaka (2000) and an MBBS from Dhaka University (1996). Additionally, he received reproductive health research training from WHO in Geneva. Dr. Salehin currently teaches at Monash University, the University of Melbourne, and Federation University. With a long-standing public health career, he has worked with international NGOs across Asia and the Pacific. His research interests include maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, adolescent health, tobacco control, health promotion, and healthcare for disadvantaged populations. He received the Australian Leadership Award (2009–2010) and is a member of the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA).
