Biography
Sara Taha is a Senior Clinical Fellow in Hydrocephalus at The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery in London, United Kingdom. She completed her medical degree at University College London in 2011 and an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the same university in 2007. She has a keen interest in hydrocephalus and cerebrospinal fluid disorders, built up through cumulative experiences in paediatric & adult neurosurgery, which include a clinical fellowship at Great Ormond Street Hospital for children; a special elective programme at the NINDS in Bethesda, USA; and ongoing work under the supervision of Mr Laurence Watkins at the NHNN, in London, UK. Moreover, Miss Taha is concerned with health equity and training and development. She has made regular visits to hospitals and medical institutions in Sudan, where she contributed to teaching and service improvement. In December 2019, she took the initiative to contact the Ministry of Health in Sudan in order to contribute to healthcare reforms. Her input was included in Sudan Revivery & Reform Policy & Strategic Plan. She is active in translations from English into Arabic and vice versa.
