Forestry, natural resources & climate change expert, Sustainable development General Directorate, Gums &NTFP, Directorate Director, Forest National Corporation(FNC), Khartoum, Sudan. Negotiator under the least developed countries (LDCs) group, finance/transparency team, in the United Nation Frame work for climate change (UNFCCC), representing Sudan.
Member of the united nation climate change framework (UNFCCC) Roster of experts, nominated for Sudan, reviewer for the Biennial transparency reports of parties (BTR), Finance GHG, NDCS …etc.
Desertification focal point, representing FNC. Successful participation in preparation and review of the national environment plan for Sudan, Sudan SDGs & NDCs among others. Biodiversity expert: Key member and chairing many biodiversity working groups and events, such as Nagoya protocol law, Nagoya protocol contracts, biodiversity success stories, the global access &benefit sharing of genetic resources and traditional knowledge (ABS) global project, leading the team for production of four community bio-cultural protocols (Community forests, livestock, traditional medicine &gum Arabic protocols)…etc.
Successfully finalizing the forestry biodiversity data base, established in the IGAD geo-portal 2019.
Reviewer for the Environmental impact assessments studies.
Demonstrated experience in dealing with World bank, GEF, GCF funded projects, PIR /templates, preparation of projects Concept notes, preparation of the project work plans& budgets.
Preparation of Sudan food system pathway (Track 3 leader in), for the world food system summit September 2021&designing, the strategic plan of the Sudan transforming food system 2022.
Active participation in the Humanitarian Development peace (HDP), Hub, working hard for enhancing the convergence initiative for food transformation system, to be aligned with the unfccc actions to access climate change finance.
