Prof. Donna Asteria (University of Indonesia) Indonesia

Donna Asteria is a Professor and lecturer at the Department of Communication Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. The author has an interest and has done a lot of research and community service in the fields of media (including digital technology), culture, gender, and environment (conservation, disaster management, and environmental resilience). The author's research studies gender, empowerment, and social justice have been conducted since 2001. The author's research interests are motivated by her master's education in women's studies, then supported by her studies in environmental science at the doctoral level. She is also involved in women's empowerment activities, related to issues of environmental management, community empowerment, environmental communication, and environmental education with gender perspective.
