Biography
Lena is a Politics and International Relations student at the University of Exeter. She brings an interdisciplinary approach to her work, combining insights from politics, international relations, and law to engage with complex global issues.
She is an active member of the university community, serving on the committees for both the MENA Society and the UN Women’s Society. Through these roles, she supports inclusive initiatives that promote cultural awareness and advocate for gender equality. Her longstanding passion for women’s rights led her to complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) on the subject, exploring the intersections of gender, policy, and international justice.
Alongside her academic pursuits, Lena has gained professional experience through a technology internship at J.P. Morgan, as well as meaningful involvement in the charity sector. Her legal interests are further informed by her academic background and practical exposure to issues of justice and governance, helping to shape a nuanced, rights-based perspective on global affairs.
She is committed to ethical leadership and impact-driven advocacy, and plans to continue her journey through postgraduate study and international engagement focused on human rights, development, and inclusive policymaking.
