Biography

Eman Abdulla Al-Sulaiti, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences from Qatar University, in 1999, her Executive MBA from HEC-Paris in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, in 2015 and an Advanced Certificate from HEC-Paris in Luxury as a second major, in 2016.

In 2000, she joined the governmental sector, Supreme Judiciary Council, as an Administrative Specialist for five years and then moved to the private sector and worked as an Administration Officer in Gulf Drilling International (GDI). In 2007 she started working in the Office of H.H.Shiekha Moza Bint Nasser (HHO) in the field of project management and external affairs, locally and internationally. During her work at the HHO, she was responsible for humanitarian projects in several countries under crisis. Additionally, she was in charge of overseeing the duties of the Board Committees (Supreme Education Council and the Supreme Council of Health) and producing regular reports to Her Highness.

After attaining her Associate Certificate in Project Management from ESI in 2010, she moved to Ooredoo Qatar’s Project Management Office (PMO). During that period, she implemented her knowledge and experience in overseeing projects in the organization for a period of four years.

She then worked in the Innovation Division as an Innovation Manager under the Strategy Department and she used that time to focus on self-development in executive learning and gained several certificates; the Executive Leaders Program from Qatar Leadership Center (QLC) in 2014, EMBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from HEC-Paris in 2015, and EMBA Advanced Certificate in Luxury, as the first Qatari to receive this higher degree, from HEC-Paris.

In 2015, Eman joined Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC) as Director of Business Development, where she played a strategic role in identifying, securing and sustaining local and international business opportunities, and partnerships, and in building a solid network that supports the growth of entrepreneurship and startups in Qatar. She also enjoyed coaching QBIC entrepreneurs and shared her insights and expertise with them.

Then, she joined Qatar Foundation as Manager of Corporate Governance, where she was responsible for the development of governance documentation for QF and all centers under its umbrella, as well as designing the functions and services in projects across QF. She was also responsible for the facilitation of the international certification and awards.

She is currently the Executive Director of the Administrative and Financial Division of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. Since she joined in 2022, she has been leading the execution of the vision of the Doha Institute leading more than 100 personnel, overseeing and managing departmental budgets, administrative operations, work processes and key initiatives. She is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and promoting the name and presence of the organization in the media. In addition to leading activities related to the service of society and sustainable development.

Eman received numerous awards for her participation in several corporate and community initiatives; she was awarded an EFQM Professional Assessor in 2013. She was the ALFIKRA 3rdPlace winner for Professional Category Projects in 2014, and received an Ooredoo Talent Award in 2015. Additionally, she participated as a judge at Carnegie Melon University in Qatar for the students’ projects competition and Qatar University students’ projects competition in 2016. She also shared her experience and expertise as a Mentor in the “Women Mentoring Women” Mentorship program, Arabnet in Riyadh 2015, a speaker at the WEP 16 ( Women Economic Participation ) in Amman 2016, and was speaker at the Doha Women Forum 2018 ( creating your own success).

Eman speaks three languages, Arabic, English and French and has gone through vast specialized training courses from Harvard Business School, University of Oxford, Duke University, Chicago Booth, Al Jazeera Media Training & Development Center, Palladium, ILM and many more highly reputable institutes.
