Biography
Rayan is a second-year law student at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, with a strong passion for international law and global affairs. As the founder and president of the SOAS Sudanese Society, Rayan actively promotes Sudanese culture and engages the academic community in critical discussions around political, social, and cultural issues. Beyond academia, Rayan created a blog focused on addressing contemporary global challenges, sparking thoughtful dialogue, and fostering community involvement. Dedicated to achieving excellence in international law, Rayan consistently engages in research on current legal developments and organizes community events aimed at promoting informed conversations on global justice and advocacy. Additionally, Rayan gained practical experience through an internship as a marketing assistant at Learning Connected, refining her professional communication and leadership skills. In her free time, Rayan enjoys reading extensively, participating in volunteer initiatives, and attending workshops to further her professional and personal growth.
