Biography
Dr. Abeer Saqer Alsulami is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and Corporate Governance at Najran University, Saudi Arabia, and the Founder & CEO of ASTADAM - a consultancy specialising in Governance, Sustainability, and Executive Leadership, operating across Riyadh and London. She holds a PhD in Accounting, Governance, and Quality of Auditing from the University of Southampton (2023), alongside a Certified Sustainability Expert designation from GRI, London. With over a decade of academic and professional experience, Dr. Alsulami has advised boards and senior leaders across the GCC and UK, designing ESG frameworks and sustainability reports aligned with GRI and international disclosure standards. As Advisor to the President of Najran University for Governance and Sustainability, she champions institutional transparency and performance accountability in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. A recipient of the University of Southampton’s Vice-Chancellor’s Annual Award, she has presented at leading international conferences including AAA and EAA, and brings a powerful voice at the intersection of women’s leadership, governance, and sustainable development.
