Biography
Prof. Cristina D’AlessandroScarpari is a professor at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (France). She studied Human geography in Italy (Università Degli Studi Di L’Aquila) and has a PhD in Human geography from the Université François Rabelais de Tours (France). After a post-doctoral research year at West Virginia University (WV, USA), she has also been a professor at the Université Lumière Lyon 2. Her research and her publications are focused on Sub-Saharan Africa and concerned with development and its consequences on territories
from a political geography perspective.
