Biography
Katrina Tintawi is a student at Maple Bear Barra and a youth advocate for sustainability and health. Her interests focus on sustainable development, sustainable design, environmental health, and medical sciences, reflecting an interdisciplinary approach to global challenges. She is currently developing her first research paper, Student Perspectives on Sustainability: Awareness of Energy, Water, and Waste Practices in Educational Environments, aligned with key Sustainable Development Goals including SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
In parallel, Katrina is a federally registered professional tennis player in Brazil. Fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Arabic, she represents a new generation engaged in sustainability, education, and global awareness.
