Biography

Dalia, currently, is a Professor of Physical Therapy for Women’s Health- Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University since 2017 – to present as well as the Director of Scientific projects and international publications supporting unit since 2021-present. She achieved her BScPT in 1996, MScPT in 2002 and PhDPT in 2006, all from Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University. In 2009, Dalia worked as an assistant Professor at Ahlia University, Bahrain then promoted to the rank of associated professor in 2012. Dalia has more than 50 international publications indexed in Scopus and/or web of Science (WOS), as well she serves as an editorial board member and/or reviewer in different prestigious international journals. Dalia got an annal appreciation for her distinguished international publication from Cairo University and was assigned as Director for Scientific project and international publications supporting unit at the Faculty of Physical Therapy. Furthermore, she presented her research in different parts of the world in international conferences and she served as head of the scientific committee, the annual international conference, Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University, 2022 & 2023. Of course,  Dalia is devoted for teaching in both under and postgraduate courses. From 2017-2020, Dalia was assigned to be a Dean of Graduate Studies and Research (GSR) at Ahlia University, which required developing new policies and procedures, revise previous ones and of course assure their implementation against the key performance indicators (KPI) of the institution. Furthermore, Dalia was a board member and delegating the PhD without residence programme in Business and Computer Sciences in the partnership with Brunel University London (UK) as well the MSc in Engineering management with George Washington university, USA. Since November 2022, Dalia was assigned as consultant at BUE, for the establishment of the Faculty of Physiotherapy. Dalia delivered many workshops in the field of rehabilitation in women's health as well she wrote a chronicle about the pelvic floor rehabilitation in the Author's Chronicle Section of www.siicsalud.com, 2014 in addition to publishing two books with LAMBART publications and rehabilitation of different types of incontinence.
