Description

Muhammad Zahid, Ph.D., is currently working as a Professor, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, and Center for Sustainability Studies City University of Science & Information Technology, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pakistan. He obtained his Ph.D. in Management from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, (#72th QS Asian University Rankings 2022), Malaysia. Earlier, he got his MS in Management and Master of Commerce degrees from Pakistan. After completing a master's degree, he served the banking industry for 08 years as a branch and customer services manager. His area of concentration is corporate sustainability and financial performance. He has published two books in the area of sustainability and numerous research papers indexed in journals such as Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Sustainability, International Journal of Social Ecology and Sustainable Development, International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education, Journal of Management and Organization, World Journal of Science, Technology and Sustainable Development, Gender in Management an International Journal, Current Issues in Tourism, Economic Change and Restructuring, and Environment, Development and Sustainability. For his outstanding research work he has been awarded “The award for Excellence- 2016 Outstanding Journal Papers from Emerald Group Publishing” and Best Paper Award (2014) in International Symposium on Research in Innovation and Sustainability 2014 (ISoRIS ’14) 15-16 October 2014, Malacca, Malaysia.
