Biography
Philip Moss is Head, Sustainable Development Investment Partnership (SDIP) and Blended Finance at the World Economic Forum, leading efforts to develop a common understanding of Blended Finance and develop practical public-private platforms to facilitate blended finance in development finance activities and emerging market investments. Philip has established track record in working on innovative financial products through carbon/cleantech investment and building initiatives that promote mainstream adoption of sustainable finance. Prior to the World Economic Forum, Philip served as the Managing Partner for Mana Ventures, an Abu Dhabi-based SME accelerator and investment advisory firm facilitating the transfer of sustainable technologies to emerging and frontier markets. Philip has also held positions at Masdar (the Abu Dhabi Clean Energy Company), CantorCO2e, the UNEP Finance Initiative and HSBC Household. Philip holds BS degrees in both Economics and Applied Statistics from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
