Biography
Rahmat is a dedicated finance professional and MSc Digital Finance student at Loughborough University London. She works at the Central Bank of Tanzania, where she supports financial reporting for the central bank, national development projects (TIPS), and the sovereign wealth fund (Oil and Gas Fund) and leads initiatives in sustainability reporting. With a strong foundation in accounting and ESG practices, Rahmat is passionate about leveraging finance as a tool for inclusive economic development and responsible innovation. She holds a First-Class Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam, is a Certified Public Accountant, and is an FSA Level II Candidate. Rahmat is committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals by applying digital finance to expand financial inclusion, strengthen transparency, and help the economy grow in a way that can handle climate change and protect people’s lives and jobs.
