Biography
Child to refuge parents of 1980's war torn Eritrea. My parents installed in me and my siblings the importance of Education to achieve in life. We quickly integrated and adapted to life in our new homeland of Sweden. As a family we were committed in supporting refugees in Sweden, by becoming a friendly face and supportive network in their new homeland. At the same time I pursued my studies in Science and completed my PhD in Molecular Endocrinology from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. I am now a mother and an educator, still committed in supporting grass root communities through women empowerment and parent and child education. My dream is to create a platform for the Arabic language in the western world from childhood to adulthood to introduce the cohesion we live in today.
