Biography
Baajnath Sirinath’s (Baaj) areas of contribution have been in: corporate governance and strategy; industry policy formulation; business development and commercial management; information technology; health/safety/environment; petroleum engineering; chemical engineering and industry regulation.
He has over forty years of experience in the oil and gas sector: upstream exploration and production; refining; mid-stream; downstream gas to chemicals; Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG); support services and renewable energy.
Baaj has worked in a variety of formal and informal organisational settings: government; state enterprises; multinationals both locally and internationally; academic, professional and industry institutions.
He is currently an independent consultant. Baaj holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Research Methods from Heriot Watt University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies.
