Biography
Dr. Khalid Al. Qatiti is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Faculty of Business, Sohar University, Oman, bringing over two decades of experience in education, training, research, and administration. He holds a PhD in Management from University Utara Malaysia (UUM), which is recognized among the top 100 universities in Asia and globally (401–500 band by Times Higher Education and 554th in the QS 2025 rankings). His academic qualifications also include an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire (UK) and a Bachelor's degree from Sultan Qaboos University-Oman (ranked 334 in the QS World University Rankings 2025 and ranks #8 among Arab universities in the same ranking.
Dr. Al. Qatiti’s scholarly interests cover foreign direct investors(FDIs) and business impact measurement. His teaching areas are basically supply chain management and entrepreneurship. He is a certified Black Belt in Lean Management and has extensive professional certifications including Leading Institutional Innovation (2016), CELTA (2016), CIPD (2015), PMP (2014), and more.
Administratively, Dr. Al. Qatiti has held several significant leadership roles, including Chief Editor of the Sohar University Journal for Sustainable Business (SUJSB) and manager of postgraduate programs at the faculty of business. His past roles include leading the Department of Arabic for Non-Arabic Speakers at Lincoln University (USA) and leading key units at Sohar University, such as the General Foundation Program, Training and Business Development, and the Technology Transfer Office
