Biography
Raphael Röttinger is the Chief Executive Officer of the Röttinger Group, overseeing a portfolio of companies employing approximately 600 staff across the security and services sector. He previously served as an officer in the German Armed Forces, including assignments within a special operations unit, experience that has had a lasting influence on his professional expertise and leadership approach.
He is a Professor of Operational Counterterrorism, Criminology, and Leadership, with a strong academic foundation in public administration and business administration. His work consistently bridges theory and practice, with a particular focus on security management, crisis leadership, interagency cooperation, and complex threat environments.
Alongside his executive responsibilities, he advises public authorities and organisations with security-related mandates and is actively involved in higher education and executive training at both national and international levels.
