Biography
Ms. Intisar Alahdi is a Yemeni humanitarian and development leader, founder and Chairwoman of All Girls Foundation for Development (AGF), established in 2003. She served as a member of the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) Advisory Board in 2024. Under her leadership, AGF has reached over 2 million people through multi-sector programs focused on women’s empowerment and community resilience. She holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Development from Sana’a University, with research on livelihoods and community resilience in Yemen. She is an alumna of the Leaders for Democracy Fellows Program at Syracuse University and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Fellowship. Ms. Alahdi has participated in high-level international forums, including the Yemen Pledging Conference in Geneva, and has been a speaker at global policy events. She is committed to advancing women’s leadership and empowerment, strengthening access to opportunities, and promoting sustainable, inclusive development.
