Biography
Ali Yavuz Polat is an Associate Professor at Gulf University for Science & Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from University of Leicester, UK and M.A degree in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, USA. He holds a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey. His research topics include behavioral finance, economic theory, cash holdings, dividends, financial crises, and financial stability.
