Aminu is a student of DBA at Rushford Business School. My background is in  Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and my years of experience in the Banking sector have increased my numeracy skills and also helped me to be more analytical, and have increased my desire to forecast financially. My background will also serve as a bedrock for intellectual preparation and exposure required to help me excel in this job. My current employers, the Bank of Industry Limited, whose mandate as a Developmental Finance Institution is to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises that are into manufacturing, which will inevitably aid the steady growth of the Country’s GDP as well as alleviate poverty and create jobs. Currently, I am working as a Management Staff at the Bank of Industry, Katsina, Nigeria. My Doctor of Business Administration is providing me with the necessary exposure to the research world, and it is helping me to improve as a professional. Here, in this course, I am working on my analytical skills and research writing skills. After completion of this course, I am looking for a stronger role in middle management with my employer. I am highly interested in gaining further exposure and experience in Development Finance and development experience, and how it can build the economy.
