Biography
Florence Birungi Kyazze is a distinguished academic affiliated with Makerere University in Uganda, where she has contributed significantly to the fields of agricultural science and rural development since 2010. Her research primarily focuses on the socio-psychological dynamics that influence smallholder farmers' engagement with innovative agricultural practices and technologies, particularly in the context of Uganda's diverse agricultural landscape. Her areas of expertise include participatory research, statistical analysis and modelling. At the GREAT course, she facilitates sessions on gender and resilience in the context of plant breeding research.
