Biography
Ms. Teclah Jebet is a dynamic library and information science professional with a passion for advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As Acting Assistant Librarian at Zetech University, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrating artificial intelligence into library services to enhance access to information. She has actively promoted environmental sustainability through impactful initiatives, including mobilizing the community to plant over 2,000 trees. A recipient of multiple accolades, including a Certificate of Excellence and recognition in international competitions, Ms. Jebet is committed to equitable access to information and digital literacy. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, she is a President Fellow and soprano voice leader, reflecting a balance of intellectual and creative passions. Her work aligns with SDGs focused on quality education, climate action, and sustainable communities, embodying a global perspective and a commitment to driving meaningful change.
