Biography
Abdelaziz Suliman Hamid Yassin is a seasoned politician and esteemed public policy advisor, boasting over 13 years of experience in policy-making and consultancy. He received his Bachelor's degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Khartoum, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from OAU, as well as a Master’s degree in Public Policy, a Master's degree in Religion Philosophy, and a PhD in Politics and Public Policy.
During his tenure at the Australian Government, Abdelaziz was a member of a distinguished team that spearheaded the development and implementation of numerous local and international policies for the government.
In 2018, Abdelaziz founded his own policy consultancy firm, dedicated to providing expert policy analysis and consultancy services to both public and private sectors. Since its inception, the firm has successfully crafted policies for an extensive range of private sector companies and businesses.
Abdelaziz is deeply committed to advocating for human rights across the globe, with a particular focus on African and Sudanese regions. He is an active participant and speaker at numerous conferences, including the annual policy conference in Asia.
In his leisure time, Abdelaziz indulges in nature, photography, research, writing, and listening to jazz music. He currently resides in Sydney, Australia with his beloved wife and two children.
