Biography
A final year Ph.D. candidate in medical research with many interests in renewable energy and environmental developments. PhD writing thesis at the moment and MSc in Biomedical Science (Cancer research).
A Senior Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency, the largest diagnostic laboratory in the UK. My PhD from the University of Southampton focused on innovative technology and involved immunohistochemistry, cellular and molecular biology. Following this, I managed the establishment and validation of laboratory testing for SARS-CoV-2. This involved planning laboratory processes, SOPs writing/reviewing, staff training and management, and project management.
A medical-researcher with a broad and acute interest in haematology/cardiovascular and discovery of innovative techniques. I particularly enjoy collaborating with scientists and clinicians from different disciplines to develop new skills and solve new challenges.
My expertise includes innovation, project design and management, data analysis and interpretation, and the development and implementation of research tools. I enjoy generating new ideas and devising feasible solutions to broadly relevant problems.
