Biography
Mikiale Gebreslase is a senior control engineer and researcher on environmental remediation and Life Span Risk Management of Brownfield Redevelopment Projects in China, at Northwestern Polytechinacal University. Control engineering became his passion after he received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia in 2010. His continued interests drove him to further improve his education, and in 2014 he gained MSc in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China. After he completed MSc, Northwestern Polytechnical University awarded him a full university scholarship to continue his PhD in System Engineering in 2014. He is also very much concerned about environmental issues such as climate change and pollution, which are affecting the whole world. He has authored several peer-reviewed articles and has attended many international conferences.
