Biography
Omer is a Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering student at St George’s, University of London, predicted to graduate with First Class Honours. With a strong academic foundation in electronics, biomaterials, and anatomy, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to advancing healthcare technologies. His practical experience includes engineering support for a health clinic project in Madagascar, contributing to global health and equity through accessible and inclusive design. Omer has a strong interest in real-time systems, bioelectronics, and data-driven health technologies, supported by a technical background in physics, mathematics, and computer science. He is actively engaged in student life and cultural initiatives, helping represent underrepresented voices and promote awareness of global issues. Recognised as an exemplar student, Omer has won engineering competitions at university and earned multiple student awards throughout his school years. He is driven by a passion for ethical, impact-driven engineering that contributes to meaningful global progress.
