Biography
Upasana Dhanda is an Assistant Professor at International Management Institute, New Delhi. She has been awarded her MPhil and PhD degree from Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India. Her MPhil research work involves developing and validating an employee engagement assessment instrument based on evidences from best companies to work for in India. Her PhD thesis examined how managers can drive corporate sustainability through the employees in an organization. She has published research papers in reputed journals. She has been a consultant with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd for gauging and improving the level of engagement of 23 thousand employees across India and conducted sessions for training women leaders for top management. She is actively involved in training and mentoring programmes. Her research interests include employee engagement, corporate sustainability, leadership and qualitative research methods.
