Biography
Mohamed HAFIDI obtained his Ph-D thesis in 1990 at National Polytechnic Institute, Toulouse, France, in Agronomic Science and “Doctorat d’Etat” in Agronomic and Environmental Science at Cadi Ayyad University in 1996. He is a full professor at Cadi Ayyad University (UCA) Marrakech-Morocco since 1990 and affiliate Prof at UM6P since 2018. He is the vice-president of research, cooperation and partnership of Cadi Ayyad University, since September 20244. His area of expertise is agronomic Sciences, Environment; Composting and Organic waste treatment and valorization, Soil and biofertilizers.
He supervised 40 PhD theses, 10 ongoing supervised Doctorate, and published more than 300 publications with high impact factor, 25 chapters, 10 patents... He developed more than 40 research projects. Mohamed is currently Director of Microbial Biotechnologies, Agrosciences and Environment (BioMAgE) Laboratory, at Faculty of Sciences Semlalia (Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakesh) and Vice-President of Research, cooperation and partnership of Cadi Ayyad University.
He is nominated by the Ministry of Higher Education as an expert in the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifiques et Technique (CNRST, Morocco); for the period of 2012-2014 et 2015-2017 and 2019-2022. He is also Expert in DGD-AIRD (France) 2013-2016, Fonds de la recherche scientifique (Belgium), and other international programs…etc,
He was the chair of the first edition of Mycoomed 2010 and Mycomed 2014 on mycorrhizal fungi.
