Biography
Nasreen Sorkatti is an expert journalist with over 17 years of experience working as a TV presenter on channels such as Blue Nile TV, Ashorooq TV (Khartoum) and Alaraby TV (London). She began her career graduating from The University of Sudan specialising in Journalism and Media. She has also obtained a MA degree in International Diplomacy from The University of East Anglia. Three of her Talk Shows were awarded the Mondial Award “Alkartosh” for the Best Program of the Year at Cairo Artwork and Media Mondial:

These shows hosted by Nasreen involved interviewing politicians, academic experts and decision makers to discuss societal, political and economic issues facing Sudan. They reported on governmental actions, exposed corruption and promoted transparency as well as engaging with the audience to give them a voice.
Nasreen continues to participate in conferences and meetings regarding the contemporary issues of Sudan and media related discussions.
