Biography
Hassan M. Alzain is an environmental sustainability scientist and international climate policy analyst dedicated to advancing solutions at the intersection of environment, health, climate, and energy. He is currently pursuing a Master of Environmental Management at Yale University, where he aims to empower young professionals to pursue meaningful solutions. Hassan is the co-author of Green Gambit: Climate Change, Climate Policy, and the Race Against Time, a book recognized with the Green World Award for Sustainable Development Innovation. His work spans climate diplomacy, youth leadership, environmental conservation, and sustainable development, with active participation in global forums including the UNFCCC process and international climate networks. Hassan is also a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) from the Board for Global EHS Credentialing in the United States, a Fellow with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) in the United Kingdom, and a frequent contributor of op-eds and articles on sustainability, energy transition, climate change, and environmental health, aiming to foster dialogue and accelerate progress toward a just, equitable, and resilient future for all.
